In His Words:

“As a member, and as a PPE volunteer, I am proud to be involved in the early stages of this exciting project.

As a small business owner, who is new to Pugwash and to Atlantic Canada, many tourists have asked about the history of the movement and about the Thinkers’ Lodge, and this will be an opportunity for them to visit, and participate, and learn more about how they can help contribute to a more peaceful world.

As a retired teacher, I see the importance of keeping the message of peace alive. Our youth need to be aware and involved, as they are the leaders of tomorrow. They need to know that peace is not a futile dream, and that they can work together to bring harmony in our hearts and in our nations.

By supporting the Pugwash Peace Exchange, we can all make this happen.”

 What You’re Supporting:

Your support of the Pugwash Peace Exchange allows us to continue our work towards the construction and operation of a world-class interpretive and educational centre based on peace, nuclear disarmament and the Human Security Agenda.

Whether we are helping youth learn about the problems that other cultures are facing, or bringing in interesting and engaging guest speakers, or hosting conferences that can help the world’s leaders work toward a more peaceful world, our goals are clear — we want peace, we want the rest of the world to want it, and we want to show them how to attain it.  Your support will help us do that.

Without peace, progress cannot be made. With peace, everything is possible.
